BAAD 2017

Its the hashtag that has been trending half this year. It stands for Bank Wellington, a popular Nigerian artiste and Adesua Etomi, a famous Nigerian. These two make the hottest couple ever. They have stormed the internet with the beautiful pictures for years. Adesua got engaged to Banky W earlier this year. They have had their traditional wedding ceremonies this year still. We shall see some the pictures of the couple match made in heaven in this blog.

Today at the Ugandan traditional ceremonies, the brides always change outfits especially at the time of cutting the cake. They usually change to the Indian outfits or the party dresses. But i would like to pose a new challenge to brides. We shall take our challenge from Adesua Etomi's outfits for her traditional ceremonies.


For her first Introduction ceremony Adesua wore a maroon out with some silver bead work. This she wore for her first traditional ceremony.


These above are illustrations of the four outfits that Adesua wore for her second traditional wedding that was on 11th November 2017. It was such beautiful wedding. Adesua wore custom made dress by Toju Foyeh.

outfit No 1:
The pink mermaid dress with some bead work at the tail/bottom of the dress and the chest.


Outfit No 2:
Blue strapless dress with extra bead work that the kneel level and chest area plus some wrapping.

Outfit No 3:
A black one arm strapped dress with a high thigh slit






Outfit  No. 4:
Black dress with a one arm long sleeved, a lot of silver bead work, high thigh slit and long trail/tail.

lADIES, brides out there please copy and paste some of these beautifl ideas on the outfits for your traditional ceremony. It will surely add beauty and class to you.
